Refund Policy
Effective Date: 1 June 2025
1. Overview
This policy explains how refunds are handled for purchases of theContent Engineer programme and any related digital products or services (the “Services”) sold by Matt, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom (the “Provider”, “I”, “me”).
By purchasing the Services you agree to this Refund Policy, which operates alongside UK consumer legislation, including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
2. 30‑Day Satisfaction Guarantee
- You may request a full refund within 30 calendar days of purchase if you:
- Complete the first month’s assignments in good faith, and
- Feel you are not materially closer to establishing a consistent publishing cadence and booking your first paid call.
- No proof of failure is required beyond a brief explanation so I can improve the programme.
- Refunds cover the purchase price paid, less any non‑refundable payment‑processor fees (normally £0.20 + 1.4 %).
3. How to Request a Refund
Email matt@oddell.com with:
- Your full name and the email used at checkout.
- Date of purchase (or invoice number).
- A short note confirming you completed the first‑month tasks and wish to invoke the guarantee.
Requests received after 23:59 UK time on day 30 are not eligible.
4. Processing Time
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 UK business days. Your bank may take longer to post the funds.
5. Instalment Plans & Partial Payments
If you purchased via a multi‑payment plan:
- All instalments already collected will be refunded in full if eligibility criteria are met.
- Future scheduled payments will be cancelled immediately.
6. After the 30‑Day Window
Because the Services include instant access to downloadable digital materials and live coaching time, no refunds are offered after the 30‑day guarantee period, except where required by law.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact me first—most issues are solved quickly. Initiating a chargeback without emailing may result in immediate removal from the programme and community while the dispute is investigated.
8. Changes to This Policy
I may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be emailed to active Participants and posted here. The updated version is effective immediately for new purchases and 30 days after notice for existing Participants.
